Painting Your Own Drift Boats
When we build our own drift boats - I think that the funnest part is when we are finally done with all the measuring and cutting and assembly - and we then get to finally put that 1st coat of primer and paint on.
Think about it- you have put your hard work into it- your design and your carefully precision cuts and sealing it- and then, when its time to give it that final coat of paint.
Thats the top of line excitement that has always brought me back to building boats. If you have seen your own drift boat- completely finished - with that beautiful coat of paint on it- its like a natural high.

And that natural high has always gave me such a pure sense of satisfaction- that I have often chosen to skip over the building process right to drift boat restoration instead- just so I could mess with limited repairs and get straight to the painting of my own drift boats.
